01. Purpose of Data Collection

I use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with my portfolio. As a Data Analyst, I use this data solely for:

• Learning & Experimentation: Testing GA4 implementation, event tracking, and traffic analysis.
• Website Optimization: Improving the user experience and content structure based on aggregated usage patterns.
• SEO Analysis: Understanding search performance (Search Engine Optimization).

I do not use this data for advertising, retargeting, or selling to third parties.

02. Data Protection & Anonymization

To protect your privacy, I have implemented the following measures:

• IP Anonymization: Your IP address is anonymized by Google Analytics.
• Data Redaction: I have configured the system to automatically redact potential Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as email addresses from URLs.
• No PII Collection: I do not store names, emails, or phone numbers in my analytics database.

03. Your Rights & Opt-Out Options

Even though this is a personal project, I respect your right to privacy. If you prefer not to be tracked, you can:

• Browser Settings: Disable cookies in your browser settings.
• Google Opt-out Add-on: Install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Do Not Track: Enable "Do Not Track" (DNT) in your browser.
